MODULE 1: FOUNDATIONS OF CLIENT-CENTERED THERAPY (CCT)Goal: To introduce the philosophy, history, and foundational principles of Client-Centered Therapy. Learners will understand the core values that guide this approach and the central role of the therapeutic relationship in client growth.

    • Overview of CCT as a Humanistic Therapy.
    • Definition and purpose of CCT.
    • Historical development and evolution of the approach.
    • Key figure: Carl Rogers and his contribution to the Humanistic movement.
  • Core Principles of CCT
    • Introduction to the core conditions: empathy, unconditional positive regard, and congruence.
    • The role of the therapeutic relationship in client growth.
    • The philosophy behind non-directiveness and trust in the client’s self-healing potential.
MODULE 2: BUILDING THE THERAPEUTIC RELATIONSHIP – SKILLS AND TECHNIQUES

Goal: This module focuses on developing the therapist’s presence and building a strong, trust-based therapeutic alliance.
