What is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a powerful third-wave behavioral approach that helps clients move beyond struggle and into purposeful living. Rather than avoiding distressing thoughts or emotions, ACT teaches psychological flexibility, helping individuals accept what they can’t control while committing to actions that reflect their values. This course will guide you through ACT’s six core processes using experiential tools, metaphors, and real-life applications. Whether working with anxiety, trauma or general life challenges, you’ll gain techniques to help clients build resilience and lead more meaningful lives.
